Here we have something that destroys any negative pre-judgement on Chinese made watches, this watch is destroying competition for a similar price! You're getting well considered design, impressive build quality and an all round great package for way under £200! Perpetual began in 2004 and are just a team of 4 working in China, they produce approximately only 60 watches a month! Talk about limited production... I think what they have achieved here is brilliant and it's nice to see it being done correct in an honest and fair way.
Points of Mention
This is a used watch from 2017 so signs of wear will be visible, though the watch is in overall good condition. All functions work as they should. The watch comes paired with it's original box and paperwork, date pusher tool is provided and the watch is on its original strap and buckle.
Before this watch I had never heard of this brand and was quite quick to actually misjudge them as another microbrand profiting on the growing market, but once I got the watch in hand I was amazed with what they have achieved. Truly, it's a great looking watch as well as a very well build watch!

Here we have a great example of a Bulova Super Seville Calendar, it comes with it's original box and spare links, it's also in incredible condition! Yes, it is no secret this is a homage to the Rolex Datejust, but let's take a step back from that and take it on it's own merits! The dimensions of this actually make it wear larger than 36mm and incredibly flat to the wrist, the slope of the lugs is perfect and the jubilee offers the comfort you'd come to expect from such a bracelet.
In the 70s & 80s Bulova did a fair few homages to different brands and models, whilst some people certainly don't give them respect based on that fact, I think the build quality cannot be denied on them. Having handled most of the Super Seville range and even the Royal Oak homage, I can say the build quality across the board is incredible. Plus can you really go wrong for the price? I certainly think not!
Points of Mention
This watch is in VERY good condition, gold plating all intact with a very sharp lugs and bezel. The watch comes with its full bracelet when the spare 4 links are added, the bracelet is the original jubilee provided on the watch. The watch comes with it's box too. The watch dates to 1987 based on P7 on the case back.
I am a fan of homages and have made that clear for a long time, it doesn't bother me personally. So for me I really enjoy this watch and think it offers a hell of a lot for such a good price, if you aren't one to feel the pressure of those who don't agree with homages, treat yourself to this!
Granted, the Ventura is not for everyone... But it's history cannot be denied! This piece is from 1990 and was a limited edition of 5907, this is NUMBER 1! Whilst this watch has been worn it is certainly in good condition considering it is 28 years old! The watch features the classic and clean Hamilton dial with the waves through the middle, the ever complex and detailed case that flows right to the strap and looks as if the strap is all part of the case.
Now what we have here is a VERY interesting offering from Girard Perregaux and one you probably not see again! This is the Ref. 7100 Sea Hawk with the beautiful white dial and Pepsi Style, with Gold Numerals, Sapphire Bezel! This watch is running the GP Caliber 215 which, from my research, the 7100 only used for the first 500 models made before they switched to the ETA 2892. This is a true dive watch with 500M of Water Resistance and yet is housed in a case that is 10mm thick, the engineering that has gone into this watch is beyond insane! It is also believed that approximately 2700 models were made in the reference 7100 & 7300 and that covers different variations within the references, such as dial colours and bezels etc! So of this white dial we can only imagine how many are actually out there!
But to add to all that above we also have the original box that the watch was sold in, it is a super funky, heavy and unusual case! It even comes with the outer box signed Girard-Perregaux, what more can you ask for? The outerbox and inner case do have signs of wear and some marks of damage, but functional and such a cool touch! The watch is paired on a custom leather strap that matches the watch perfectly, it currently only has 1 hole that will fit a 7 1/4 inch wrist, so once you get this watch you can go and get another hole punched in to fit you perfectly and enjoy this watch on this strap! Don't wait on this one because I don't think you'll see another come up, especially in condition like this!
Citizen is a brand I am no stranger to. I have owned and sold many ranging from vintage pieces to brand new watches, I love the brand! They offer great value and serve as an easy every day watch for the rest of your life or a great way into watches, or even a great addition to any collection! This one is no different, incredible build quality and great looks.
When I took this Zelos out of the incredible packaging I was amazed by the size and feeling, even though it is Titanium it still has a great wrist presence, once on the wrist it fit perfectly! Could not believe a watch of this size could actually wear so well on my 6 3/4 inch wrist! Whilst we are on the subject of box, it is incredible! You have an amazing solid wooden box which has a nice colour and finish, once you open that you have a well made watch roll with multiple accessories. Not only is it super practical as you can use that watch roll for travelling or storing your watches, but the box is super practical too!
The design of the watch is great and clearly had thought! The crown even has a lumed logo, who else is doing that?! The bezel has a real depth and the massively domed crystal warps the dial nicely in certain angles, aesthetically it's really well done! Then you flip it over and there is a very nice artwork, all looks great! The clasp is certainly worth mentioning too as it has a very clever extension which allows you to make small adjustments, which is perfect for when the weather is fluctuating and therefore your wrist is too.
Pick this watch up! Great price and a hell of a lot of watch for the money.
Hamilton offer incredible value for so much watch, there really isn't many brands that can give them a run for their money in the Swiss market. So to think that at Retail they offer great value, imagine how great that value becomes when the watch hits the secondary market! An automatic day/date watch on a bracelet for the asking price we have is bonkers! Plus not the mention the great and iconic military dial styling which is very legible in all light condition, plus... It just looks epic! It is build very well too, which we come to expect from the Swatch brand and they certainly don't disappoint! I don't suspect this will stick around long so be sure to click that buy button before it goes and you regret it!
Points of Mention
The watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box, paperwork or spare links. It will currently fit up to a 6 1/2 inch wrist, so please keep this in mind before buying. The overall condition is good, hairline scratches to the case, bracelet and clasp. The watch is in running condition though there is no service history.
I love Hamilton and I will be adding one to the personal collection very soon! I have owned and sold many over the years and I think along with Tissot they offer some of the best value for money watches in the Swiss market today! This won't last long! If it does I may have to keep it for me!
The Seiko turtle is an iconic watch among watch collectors, the case ergonomics still amaze me! Whilst you look at the dimensions on paper you may think it's a large watch, but how that cushion case sits on the wrist is something special. This is the reference 6309-7040, dating to 1981. The dial, hands and bezel insert are replacements. You still get that vintage feeling with this watch and all the charm that comes with a vintage dive watch.
Points of Mention
This reference does have replacement hands, dial and bezel insert. The watch comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is currently running but has no service history.
Whilst most of the watch has been replaced it is still a nice looking Turtle and for the price you really cannot go wrong. I have always been a fan of the Seiko turtle and I hope to add a true vintage reference to the personal collection one day.
Chronographe Suisse are known for their vintage Chronographs, commonly using a manual wound Landeron movement, very reliable and have great action when initiating and stopping the chronograph. The design of this one is beautiful, big bold numerals with a gold plate to fill them in which catch the light perfectly along with the thing long hands, concentric circles for the chronograph subdials. The dial definitely has some patina but it adds to the charm in my opinion, I've taken honest and close photos for you to make your own decision on the patina.
The case is chrome with a stainless steel caseback, but the case is in incredible condition! No signs of the case wearing and ageing at all. There are signs of wear but again nothing serious, plus the watch is in running condition! The value this watch packs is insane, especially when you think you are getting a nicely sized two register chronograph that is vintage and working well. Pick it up before it's too late!
This watch is 58 years old... And yet still looks so perfectly suited on the wrist as I'm sure it did 58 years ago. The Omega Seamaster is easily one of the most iconic and instantly recognisable watches alongside the Speedmaster and yet can still be head for a great price. This 1961 Seamaster is a desirable reference 14389 featuring applied roman numerals and subsidiary second hand, beautiful even patina throughout the dial adding to the charm. Seamaster caseback with Omega signed crown and featured on a leather NATO with an Omega signed buckle, what more could you possibly want?
As we all know Omega released a special edition Omega Seamaster 1948 based on the original Seamaster from 1948, this this isn't that reference it's pretty close. I think we will see the prices of vintage Seamasters continue to grow past what they already have in a short amount of time!
Points of Mention
The watch was serviced in 2017 and is in good working order. The dial does have patina as you can see, please view the images and make your own decision on that, we personally love it. The watch is paired on a leather NATO with an Omega signed buckle. Omega Seamaster caseback and Omega signed crown. Overall great condition with some signs of wear to the case, which is to be expected for a 58 year old watch!
This is my favourite reference of vintage Omega Seamaster as it combines all the things we love about the model but is still one of the most affordable versions! The patina on the dial is beautiful, the case is nice. Plus this is a definite strap monster! If I had the cash, this wouldn't even be displayed on the store right now!
Finally a Straton, a brand I have seen plenty off on Instagram. In person it definitely makes sense, build quality is great and design is too. Plus the leather case it comes with is incredible quality and would make a nice travel case all on it's own! This is the Straton Curve-Chrono Version E, which is the all black DLC version. Runs a nice meca-quartz movement and wears well even on a small wrist like mine. The watch comes in barely worn condition, literally if I told you this was brand new you'd believe me apart from the ever so slight crease marks in the leather! A great buy at below retail and in as good condition as if you were to buy it at retail!
The Seiko Alpinist is a famous watch within the watch collecting community, if anyone even sees part of the dial they could probably name the watch. We have this paired on the Strapcode Jubilee bracelet which fits the watch perfectly and adds a real sense of quality, the original strap is also provided. This model is freshly serviced, a full set and with the high quality bracelet. I think this is as good as it gets for a highly desirable reference from Seiko! Plus the prices of these have gradually been increasing over the past few years and I do not see that being a trend that is slowing down!
Points of Mention
This watch comes with it's box and paperwork, original leather strap and with the Strapcode Jubilee. The watch was serviced in 2019 and is running well and still has the paperwork for that service.
Green isn't my colour, never been a fan. BUT I can't get enough of this watch, the tone of green and the way it plays in the light is perfect! I have sold 3 Alpinist in the past and have owned many Seiko's with the Strapcode Bracelets... This is amazing on the bracelet and really turns the watch from a cool watch, into an incredible watch! Don't hang about on this one as I suspect it won't stick around long.
I am happy to present one of the most incredible dials on a Datejust I have ever seen! This beautiful Datejust Ref. 16233 dating to 1991 features a ivory white textured, pyramid like, dial which contrasts perfectly against the steel & rose gold case and jubilee bracelet! The watch still has it's original green sticker on the caseback and is in overall great condition considering the age, also the Jubilee bracelet has minimal stretch, it is currently fitting a 6 1/4 - 6 1/2 inch wrist but more links can be added on request.
