Dreyfuss & Co Series 1925
Dreyfuss & Co. are a brand that have gone relatively unnoticed by myself, but I have to say the overall quality that they provide is incredible and they do take a hit on the grey market. So the price we have this offered at makes this watch an absolute steal! You're getting a realiable Sellita movement, great build quality, nice design and that's not even mentioning the box it comes with! Surely that alone is worth half the price minimum, it's a great wooden 5 piece watch box!
Points of Mention
The watch is in overall very good condition for a used watch, few hairline scratches but nothing major. The clasp that threads into the strap does not close very tight so would recommend being careful with that, the caseback does clip in but you can hear it rattle from time to time, this is mainly due to the design.
I would be buying this for the watch box alone, it's incredible! But in all seriousness the watch is very cool, whilst typically not my kind of thing and maybe a little big for me personally, I really like the design and it's actually very comfortable on wrist!

Who doesn't like Tudor? Especially this watch! You get all the essence and heritage of the Black Bay but in a Bronze case, it is truly unique and for something like this to come from a brand that is so closely related to Rolex is just awesome! The movement inside is the MT5601 COSC which is a real work horse! This is an overall great package for someone wanting a great watch that is unique in the fact that it is Bronze... And Bronze is certainly still hot!
I always enjoy bringing attractive watches at attractive prices, this is one of them! Coming in at 35mm it wears very well on the wrist and has a very useful day/date function, whilst in French it isn't too difficult to learn the days of the week ;) The overall design, feel and case gives me Heuer Carerra vibes on the wrist, it definitely looks a lot more expensive than the asking price.
If you are in the market for a vintage watch that will look at home on the wrist during a fine diner, or in a t-shirt and shorts during the summer, this is certainly that watch! Plus being a LIP it will attract only the attention of watch nerds! Treat yourself.
Points of Mention
The watch is being sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is in vintage condition with patina developing on the dial, scratches to case and signs of wear. The watch is currently working well, though it has no service history!
I find this watch very comfortable on wrist and it certainly ticks a LOT of boxes as a vintage watch lover! Plus... I don't think you'll see another one of these out in the wild anytime soon!
Vintage, oversized, 18k rose gold, manually wound chronograph, even patina, what more is there to want? I believe these Brands that are no longer with us offer some of the best value in the market, whether it be for a classic dress watch or something more like this beautiful Chronograph. The 38mm 18k Rose Gold case is a lovely warm rose gold tone instead of the deep copper colour we see today in modern watches, vintage rose gold is always a warmer tone. It contrasts perfectly to the dial which has developed beautiful and even patina over time, the blue telemeter scale and red tachymeter scale on the dial are still in great visible condition.
The watch is powered by a serviced Landeron 149 and has a great actuation when initiating, stopping and resetting the chronograph. The watch is paired on a nice Geckota brown leather strap which compliments the warm tone of the 18k Rose Gold and makes it an absolute treat to wear.
Points of Mention
The watch does have patina on the dial. The case was professional polished and is in good condition, the crown was replaced with a tone correct 18k rose gold crown when serviced, the watch was serviced in 2018 and running great.
When people talk value in the industry it's always a tough one as value means different things to different people. When I see a 18k gold vintage chronograph for under £1000 I see incredible value! If this watch was to have a more recognised brand on the dial it would be anywhere from 3x or 10x depending on the brand, that is value. Plus I like the idea that you will probably NEVER see another on someone's wrist.
For a brand that first saw it's waves of interest from Instagram and to watch that convert to sales and an ever growing and successful brand is great, I think Baltic are a great example of what a small modern brand can do to win over us collectors! I am excited to be offering this first generation HMS-001 with the silver dial, whilst it is a pre-owned watch it is still in very good condition and has been rarely worn!
The watch offers a lot of value for money and the proportions on the wrist are brilliant, not to mention the design! I think they really nailed the look of this watch, the dial with the inner chapter ring giving that contrast and the blued hands, all very attractive and in the 38mm case is very thought out!
Points of Mention
The watch comes in its box with it's original leather strap, overall very good condition with a few very minor hairline scratches to the polished sides of the case. No paperwork with the watch, the watch is running well!
When the offer came up to sell this watch I couldn't say no, I have sold the same reference in the past and the collectors love it! Once in hand and on wrist it is hard for anyone to not understand why, it ticks so many boxes and is very affordable! Don't hang about on this one!
When I saw this watch I just couldn't help myself, I had to buy it! Yes it is a homage to the AP Royal Oak, but this is so much fun for such little money in the grand scheme of things. The dial has developed a patina which has given it an almost star dust finish which is hard to capture, but when in the right light it really shows itself off! The bracelet is super comfortable and the wrist presence is very nice.
I think if you're dreaming of that Royal Oak but aren't quite there, this watch is the perfect thing for the meantime! It scratches that itch whilst still standing on it's own merits and being enjoyable... Who knows, when you get the Royal Oak you might still pull this out of the watch box for a bit of fun!
Points of Mention
The watch has a lovely black dial which has patina'd and developed an almost stardust effect, quite difficult to capture but feel free to email me and I can do my best to get some natural shots showing this effect. The case does bare scratches and the bracelet has some stretch, this wasn't a safe queen and was worn and loved. The folding clasp is still secure and snaps nicely, it comes with its entire bracelet and will fit a very large wrist. The watch will be fitted with a new battery.
I really like this watch and truly had to buy it when I saw it! Didn't even blink. I will be enjoying this watch from time to time until it can go off to its new home, I'll be quite sad when it does! But a watch like this deserves to be enjoyed.
LIP was founded in 1867 and has certainly been through a lot, though before those tough times in the 70/80s they made some very innovative and funky watches, this was certainly one of them! LIP has been reborn and is producing some very great re-issues, they even have one of this watch in Automatic, but this being the OG Electronic, worlds 2nd electronic watch, it is a special watch!
Let's not forget that this also has a super compressor case with inner bezel, plus it's original cross-hatched crowns! It doesn't get much better than this, it is also paired on a very fitting vintage bracelet that suits the watch very well!
Points of Mention
The watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or papers. The luminous material on the dial and hands is aged evenly and missing a small amount on the hour hand. The crowns operate the watch, though are a little tight. The movement can be a little temperamental after changing the time and stop, with a small shake it continues fine, strongly recommend a service!
Granted! This watch is definitely showing some age and would have seen some better days... It's a true watch, honest and incredible. When I get a vintage watch like this in I get very excited! These are the kind of things that get my gears going. Don't hang about on this one!
Where to even begin with such a beautiful watch like this? Let's get the facts out of the way! This is an 18ct Gold Zenith from 1954/55 running a beautiful manual wound movement from Zenith! This watch was serviced in October 2016 and had it's mainspring replaced, therefore as you can expect it is running very well for a 63 year old watch! The dial is also immaculate and untouched, it being preserved in the condition it is in would suggest to me that this was purchased by someone who would only take it out for very special occasions, therefore rarely seen time on the wrist!
If I had to choose just one dress watch I truly think this would be it! Believe me I'm keeping the photos of this one on my phone for the future hunting, I'll want another one for me!
This is one of those cool watches with an equally cool story! So it goes that Squale found multiple, original, bakelite bezels in a draw and decided to make a limited edition of 60 watches in 3 different colour ways. The end result is incredible, it begs to be photographed and truly feels great on the wrist. It is quite a thick watch but due to the shape of the case and the profile of the case back it actually hugs the wrist fairly well, that is even on a smaller wrist.
The use of a Bakelite bezel here is what really takes the show! Also the vintage colour ways, of the 3 colours they used this is my favourite as it feels the most retro. I think they made a great choice of making it this limited, this really feels like one of those watches you will not see again, and that is limited!
Points of Mention
This is a pre-owned watch being sold in very good condition and a complete set with all it's accessories and extra straps, it even comes with one more strap than it did when purchased originally. Limited to 60 pieces it is a rare watch, of those 60 there are 3 different colours split into 20, so technically this colour is 1 of 20 made.
Squale is one of those brands that doesn't always get the love it deserves in my opinion, however even the "haters" of the brand that I have shown this watch their opinion usually changes! I think regardless of your opinion on the brand this is one hell of a watch and offers so much for so little in my opinion! Also, find another one!
This is one of the latest offerings from Orient and they have really done well with the entire watch, from the designs and the useful complication on the dial showing the power reserve, to the fact they used a sapphire crystal, solid end links and a milled clasp! You really cannot go wrong with this watch if you are looking for a great dive watch that can service function incredibly well but also be a great watch to wear with a t-shirt and jeans.
