1960s Turnex “Carrera”
When I saw this watch I had to own it! This beautiful watch has been part of my personal collection for a few months, but I'd be a terrible watch dealer if I didn't sell the watches, so here it is! 36mm, all stainless steel, manually wound chronograph with well-proportioned pump pushers! Powered by the ever reliable Landeron 248, it makes it the perfect affordable vintage chronograph! I have called it the "Carrera" as the design and feel really makes me feel like I am wearing a perfect vintage Heuer Carrera! Whoever purchases this beautiful watch is in for a great watch that will keep going strong and look great for a lifetime!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. This is a vintage watch so therefore signs of wear will be seen, the crystal has had a polish whereas the case is in its original unpolished condition. The watch comes with no known service history, but it is running well. There is an engraving on the case back as photographed.
I wouldn't hang about with this one as I suspect it is going to fly! If not with one of you, it will with me as I am very hesitant on offering this one out as I know I will regret it very quickly once it does sell!

If you have ever wanted “Different” Seiko have always been more than happy to provide, but different isn’t always good… In the case of the Recraft it totally is beyond good, it’s brilliant! The way the case wears on the wrist is a dream, having a shorter lug to lug length than the actual case diameter means it really is like wearing a UFO on the wrist!
I would say if you are looking for a great limited edition watch that is different from the sea of usual suspects, then this ticks that box for you! It’s also (In the watch world) super affordable for the package you receive!

This watch is sold with its original box and paperwork, it is also still within its 2 year manufacture warranty. The original brown leather strap is provided with the watch, it is currently paired on a gold plated mesh bracelet.
It is no secret that non-traditionally shaped watches are what get me… So I guess it therefore should be no surprise that I absolute love this watch! The chocolately brown dial contrasting against the gold, almost a rootbeer kind of effect, is truly beautiful and mesmerising!
This is an incredible value proposition when you truly take a second to look at all the details! What you have here is a manual wound Hamilton running the Cal. 649 which is also known as the ETA 2750, a very reliable 17 jewel movement! It is military field styling with an all matte case and beautifully grained black dial and a matching matte Hamilton signed crown! Retailed by L.L.Bean hence the presence of that at 12 o'clock! All this put into a 33mm case which has a lug-to-lug of 40mm which means it wears very well on all wrists!
Once you have considered all this and look at the price I think you will be as shocked as I was when I priced this watch! Get them whilst they are still affordable.
If I was to say an Automatic 7750 Chronograph movement, a CERAMIC case over a titanium core, great design and quality, still in guarantee and all that for the list price... Would you believe it? I certainly didn't! I had to go and read and re-read about this watch over and over... The fact that you are getting that much watch for this price is unreal and makes this watch a real value proposition! I would say if you are in the market for such a thing do not hesitate with this one, give me a call for any questions!
I always enjoy bringing attractive watches at attractive prices, this is one of them! Coming in at 35mm it wears very well on the wrist and has a very useful day/date function, whilst in French it isn't too difficult to learn the days of the week ;) The overall design, feel and case gives me Heuer Carerra vibes on the wrist, it definitely looks a lot more expensive than the asking price.
If you are in the market for a vintage watch that will look at home on the wrist during a fine diner, or in a t-shirt and shorts during the summer, this is certainly that watch! Plus being a LIP it will attract only the attention of watch nerds! Treat yourself.

The watch is being sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is in vintage condition with patina developing on the dial, scratches to case and signs of wear. The watch is currently working well, though it has no service history!
I find this watch very comfortable on wrist and it certainly ticks a LOT of boxes as a vintage watch lover! Plus... I don't think you'll see another one of these out in the wild anytime soon!
What a cool and AFFORDABLE watch this one is! Plus the story is pretty cool, so this company "Carrera" is a remote control toy company that focuses on toy cars, "Carrera" is actually Spanish for "Race". It is believed that the company made a small batch of these watches to give to their best employees and/or customers/retailers. The watch is powered by the Valjoux 7734 which is a great movement and can be found in much more expensive watches, the price I am charging is probably close to the price of the movement alone. So basically buy the movement and get a free cool watch! On a serious note though the watch is very well designed and looks great on the wrist, wearing similar to how a Seiko Turtle wears.
So if you're looking for an affordable and attractive chronograph then look no further!
There is some serious charm when it comes to a vintage watch that is essentially a mystery, this is exactly one of those! "Waterproof" stated on the sector dial with bold syringe hands, sub seconds at 6o’clock and lovely Arabic numerals. The design of this watch is what speaks most, the contrast of the high gloss gold ring on the outer edge against the vibrant blued hands… From dial, to case shape and size, this watch is all charm, both on and off the wrist!

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box and paperwork. The watch has no service history, whilst it is running and keeping time a service would be recommended with any vintage pieces that are sold with no service history. The case is base metal and showing signs of wear, the crown requires you to pull and hold to change the time.
Is it perfect? No! Is it charming? 100% yes! This is one of those watches for a true collector, someone who enjoys something a little out of the ordinary and something that stands out in a good way. This will certainly attract questions and spark an interesting conversation.
The Rolex Submariner was first introduces in 1953 with the first "Date" model, the infamous 1680, being introduced 1966! There you could argue this reference 114060 is the most true to the original Submariner as it features no date! Either way it is the Submariner I think everyone can get behind as the conversation of whether you like the Cyclops or not doesn't even have to cross the mind, the symmetry of this watch is a work of art!
Points of Mention
This is a used Rolex being sold in good condition, has some signs of wear on the polished parts of the case with some scratches to the clasp and bracelet. The watch is being sold as a complete set with the bezel protector still, it is still also in warranty.
The perfect modern Submariner? I think so! Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people who hate the cyclops, it really doesn't bother me! But I just think the watch looks so perfectly proportioned without it, it really makes it feel like the "Tool" it was intended to be.
1969, the year man landed on the moon and he was wearing none other than the Omega Speedmaster Professional! However the history of the Speedmaster goes back to 1957 and it wasn't until 1962 that it came to the attention of NASA. If you haven't already, I would highly recommend Googling "Omega Speedmaster History" and just delve into the wide array of information out there, it really will make you appreciate this watch so much more and appreciate the fact it is still "Affordable" to get a small taste of that history!
This watch comes paired on a high quality Leather strap and an aftermarket exhibition case back, but don't panic! Both the original case back and original bracelet are provided in the box for you to switch back to if you wish.
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as a complete set and comes with it's full box and paperwork. This is the classic Speedmaster Professional with a hesitate crystal, it comes with it's original case back and currently on it is an exhibition aftermarket option. The watch also comes with it's original bracelet, currently it is paired on a finely made Colareb leather strap. The watch is sold in used condition, however it is in very good overall condition. The watch is fully working and runs well.
Does it get anymore classic and perfect than a Speedmaster Professional? I think not! Whilst the aftermarket exhibition case back will not be for everyone, the original is in the box to swap back to if desired. Overall this watch in general offers a lot of "Bang for the Buck" and is desired by most collectors. I wouldn't hang about with this one!
There isn't anything more I can say that hasn't already been said about the SKX! I am happy to bring you one of the classics, the SKX007J, J meaning it is the Japanese Domestic Market edition rather than the Malaysian. The watch is a full set and comes on the great rubber strap and is in good condition! The SKX has become one of those watches that if anyone ever asks "I have a few hundred pounds to spend on watches, what should I get?", almost always a SKX will be in that reply! It's a great watch for those starting out, those a few watches into their journey or even that guy with it all!
I am excited to bring you another Pinion because I believe whether you enjoy independent brands or not (If you don't we need a chat!) this is a watch that I think everyone can appreciate and also see the value in! You are getting a manually wound Unitas 6498 inside this bronze case, yes that's too cool things! Manual wound and bronze, match that with the unique single piece leather Nato which feels amazing on wrist! Not only that it matches and compliments the bronze case perfectly.
Now let's talk about that dial! Wow! It just begs to be photographed and each time comes out better than the last. The depth of the dial and the different levels of detail really catch the eye over and over! Only 100 of this watch was made so the chances of you ever bumping into someone with the same brand is very rare, nevermind the same watch! But you can guarantee if you do you'll probably have an incredible conversation!
The Rolex Explorer II Reference 16550 is an interesting reference as it is known as a "Transitional Reference", meaning it features specs that become the future of the model. This had the 40mm case, sapphire crystal, updated Cal. 3085. It also had a makeover with the dial, which is the most interesting part of this watch with its creamy lume! This reference of the Explorer II was only made from 1985 until 1989, making it a very short production run, so I suspect there aren't an awful lot of them out there, especially in this condition, at this price!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or guarantee, however the watch does come with Rolex Service history from 1998 / 2002 / 2006 with the most recent being November 2018, therefore the watch is still within its 2 year Rolex Service Guarantee. The dial is the original tritium dial from 1986, however the hands have been replaced with Super Luminova service hands in the most recent service. The bracelet is an original Rolex oyster bracelet with spare links. The watch is in great condition.
The Explorer II has always been seen as the "Affordable GMT-Master II", though I think that has changed a lot in the past few years! The option of a white dial makes it incredibly attractive and also a great value proposition for a GMT watch! This model even more so, only 4 year production! Also I am excited to announce with confidence that this is one of the VERY best priced white dial Ref. 16550 on the market right now!
