1935-38 Omega Medicus 23.4

£850.00

The Watch

The Omega "Medicus" was the brands first wristwatch to feature a central seconds hand, this made the watch easier to read and bigger. The watch quickly became known as the "Nurses' watch" due to how beneficial the central seconds was for medical staff during the second world war. The Medicus became an import watch for Omega and for its history and now is highly collectible! The references dates from 1935-38 and was faithfully restored by SwissTec to an incredible standard of both the dial and the case, looks absolutely incredible both on and off the wrist!

The dial has been finished to a very high standard and the hands match perfectly, giving the edge the watch would have originally had. The case sits nicely on the wrist at 33mm, perfect for the person not afraid of smaller watches. Housed inside is the ever reliable Cal. 23.4 which is a true work horse of a movement by Omega!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. This watch comes on an original Omega strap with buckle. The watch was professionally and faithfully restored by SwissTec and comes with a purchase receipt from Austin Kaye from 2016. The watch was serviced in 2016 and is running well.

Personal Note

A great vintage watch of high quality, prestigious brand and true history does not have to cost thousands! This watch proves that perfectly and this is why my love for Omega is so strong! Even in my personal collection I have an Omega from 1944, I suspect it will never leave... I suspect this won't leave your collection when it gets there!

1944 9ct Gold Invicta Art-Deco

£350.00

The Watch

When you think Invita you probably think either modern homages to Rolex or you think insane 50mm rainbow finished watches... It's unlikely that a 9ct gold 1944 art-deco piece would come to mind, well the brand used to do exactly that! This incredibly early Invita features a 9ct gold BWC case with it's original onion crown, beautiful and original art-deco sector dial with its original blued leaf hands! This truly is a gem of a watch, one that will stand out in a crown and be a great talking point with other watch enthusiest! And goodluck finding another, so once this is gone, it's definitely GONE!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork, the watch is vintage from 1944 so is showing signs of age. The watch has recieved a light polish and new crystal for the purpose of selling, the dial is completely original, as is the hands and movement! The watch has no service history but is running well.

Personal Note

I purchased this with all intentions of keeping it! However if I did that I would end up with nothing on the website, so count yourselves lucky! I would recommend you buy this before I change my mind... And it's changing quick! Hurry up! Press that button!

1957 Omega Ref. 9772 Denison

£550.00

The Watch

"Presented to A.W. FLack By W.J. Bush & Co Ltd. in appreciation of 40 years loyal service 1957" That is the lovely and well done engraving on the back of the watch, from a little bit of digging W.J. Bush & Co Ltd was a business founded by William John Bush in 1850/51 when he acquired a factory that steam distilled multiple items from herbs, spices, essential oils etc... A.W. Flack remains unknown, but what we do know is in 1957 it was his 40th year with the company! They must have been good!

The great thing about watches is the stories they hide within themselves that we never truly uncover unless the story is passed along with the watch, which is all part of the fascination. Thankfully this story is locked away in a beautiful Omega dating from 1957, applied Arabic numerals which catch the light beautifully and a nice oversized sub dial, long and sharp hands that also catch the light! Even at 33mm it wears incredibly well and looks amazing!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is all original with patina visible on the dial, the watch has no service history and one would be recommended if this watch was to be worn regularly. The watch runs well currently.

Personal Note

This is what makes watches great! Gems like this come around every so often and you wish you could keep them all! Unfortunately I cannot keep them all, so I get to offer them to you!

1960 Rolex Oysterdate...

£1,250.00

The Watch

"But James... It's only a 31mm case, it is far too small!"... Try this on and you will be blown away, whilst yes it is a smaller watch the wrist presence is still incredible and wears more like a 34mm thanks to that oyster case, which those who have tried any Oyster case on will know they wear larger than their mm size says. This vintage gem is in its original condition with the dial untouched, which is quite rare as people like to "clean" these dials up. I personally believe the watch looks incredible with the slight ageing to the egg-shell dial. The watch also features a roulette date, original alpha hands and a nice case which has not been over polished! Paired on a nice rivet bracelet that looks right at home on this watch, it's a great package for a great price! Perfect for the man comfortable wearing a smaller watch or for a lady too!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The bracelet is a NON Rolex Rivet bracelet that will only fit a 6 3/4 inch wrist. The watch is original and shows signs of age. There is no service history with the watch, though it is running well, service would be recommended if worn daily.

Personal Note

Who doesn't love a vintage Rolex, especially the smaller ones as they are so different to the modern Rolex of today that are hot! I think the popularity of these is only going to grow, especially if they are kept in great original condition like this one!

1960s Turnex “Carrera”

£750.00

The Watch

When I saw this watch I had to own it! This beautiful watch has been part of my personal collection for a few months, but I'd be a terrible watch dealer if I didn't sell the watches, so here it is! 36mm, all stainless steel, manually wound chronograph with well-proportioned pump pushers! Powered by the ever reliable Landeron 248, it makes it the perfect affordable vintage chronograph! I have called it the "Carrera" as the design and feel really makes me feel like I am wearing a perfect vintage Heuer Carrera! Whoever purchases this beautiful watch is in for a great watch that will keep going strong and look great for a lifetime!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. This is a vintage watch so therefore signs of wear will be seen, the crystal has had a polish whereas the case is in its original unpolished condition. The watch comes with no known service history, but it is running well. There is an engraving on the case back as photographed.

Personal Note

I wouldn't hang about with this one as I suspect it is going to fly! If not with one of you, it will with me as I am very hesitant on offering this one out as I know I will regret it very quickly once it does sell!

1962 Omega Seamaster Cal....

£5,500.00

The Watch

If you mention the numbers 321 in the same sentence as Omega collectors get pretty excited! And for good reason too. The Cal. 321 is a column wheel movement based on a Lemania ebauche, which was used by the mighty Patek Philippe & Vacheron Constantin to name a few! Most famously the 321 was used in the early Speedmasters and the ones originally worn on the moon! The Seamaster chronographs with a Cal. 321 are exactly rarer than Speedmasters with a 321, they made less!

This reference 105.001 is a beauty of a watch and one that any Omega collector will appreciate immediately, coming in at 36mm it wears perfectly on the wrist and looks incredible! This reference also features the iconic and more appreciated pump pushers, screw down case back which still states "Seamaster" & "Waterproof" indicating the watch hasn't been over polished as these are the first things to go! The watch also has a completely original and unmolested dial which is becoming rarer too, especially with this condition! Overall you are getting a real gem here and I suspect this will not last long!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is original and shows signs of age. There is no service history with the watch, though it is running well, service would be recommended if worn daily.

Personal Note

Would it be bad of me to say I would rather this than a Speedmaster with a 321? This watch just ticks all the right boxes and is very me when it comes to collecting, I do not doubt there will be a fair few of you out there who feel the same! Don't miss out on this one, this WILL be one you will regret passing on for sure!

1964 Omega Oversized Ref. 2748

£1,400.00

The Watch

This beautiful 1964 Omega Oversized Reference 2748 was faithfully and professionally restored by SwissTec to the highest of standards, the dial is incredible and looks perfect, the case with its brushed and polished is brilliant! Overall you will not be disappointed with this 36mm dress watch that looks a million pounds both on and off the wrist! The finishing to the sector dial plays with the light perfectly, depending on what angle you have it the silvered numerals explode and give the watch a whole new feel!

Whilst restored dials aren't for everyone, I think they offer a vintage watch to people in perfect condition and faithful to how it originally looked. If done well it can even rival the original dial in how great it is, this is one of those examples!

When an email hit my inbox stating a restored dial I was hesitant, but after seeing a few photos and then finally having the watch in hand I was absolutely blown away! This watch has changed my mind of restoring dials, for the right reasons you can bring new life to an old watch!

1964 Omega Seamaster 600

£400.00

The Watch

This beautiful Seamaster 600 from 1964 embodies every a vintage Omega should be... Beautiful, perfectly proportioned both in dimensions but also visually in design, legible and elegant at the same time and most importantly... Affordable! I have said it before and I will say it again, in a market of ever inflating prices and records be hit regularly, it is refreshing to see something so iconic, well-built and beautiful staying affordable and accessible to all! If you have wanted a vintage Omega for a while this is a great buy, truly looks great on any colour strap and for any occasion! Plus the 34mm wears beautifully...

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. This is a vintage watch so therefore signs of wear will be seen, the crystal has recieved a polish. The watch comes with no known service history, the setting and winding is a little stiff and would require a service soon I suspect.

Personal Note

There is so much value in vintage Omega and I really do hope it stays that way! But as collecting watches grows in interest I see these only going up as they are one of the few remaining, instantly recognisable and desirable watches left for a reasonable price!

1967 Omega Seamaster 120...

£2,800.00

The Watch

This beautiful 52 year old watch looks just as great today as it would have 52 years ago when it left the factory, it wears its even patina amazingly, plus being 37mm it definitely does not wear too small comparative to modern watches! There is true charm in these Seamaster 120 models, most collectors dream to own one!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork, the watch is paired on a tropic strap with an original omega signed buckle. The watch is all original with original bezel which has the luminescent pearl missing, even patina throughout. The watch was serviced in 2018 and will come with a 6 month warranty too!

Personal Note

In the grand scheme of vintage Omega this watch truly offers so much for a relatively affordable price! The history and scope of the Seamaster range is vast, which only adds more interest!

1970s Heuer Camero 73445

£2,200.00

The Camero is easily one of my favourite model lines that Heuer have done, surprisingly similar to the Carrera in regards to hands and dial, it differs in the fact that it has a 37mm cushion shaped case which fits the wrist perfectly! This model feautures a gold plated case which is showing signs of age but overall is in good condition, the dial is a silver tone in good, original condition! All powered by the Valjoux 7734 which is running well!

1972 Seiko Bellmatic 4006-6031

£200.00

The Watch

Who doesn't love a good Seiko? I have been told I haven't been offering them as much so here is an incredibly cool, rare and awesome one! 1972 Seiko Bellmatic, reference 4006-6031! Gold plated which the most fascinating of dials that once catches the light really bounces it around and gives off many different tones of brown, match that with the sharpness of the yellow gold, you are left with a beautiful watch both on and off the wrist. At 39mm it sits perfectly on the wrist and adds a nice modern dimension without being too large or too small, it really is a size anyone can wear with comfort!

Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and comes with no box or paperwork. The watch is gold plated and therefore has signs of wear and the plating fading in some areas. The watch has no service history so one would be recommended if this watch is to be worn regularly, all functions work on the watch.

Personal Note

An automatic alarm watch, as cool as a concept alone! Even cooler that it is in a vintage Seiko and all for such a bargain, I will be very surprised if this lasts too long!

1977 9K Gold Omega

£750.00

The Watch

This beautiful 1977 9ct Yellow Gold Omega Reference 1625430 comes paired on an equally impressive red strap which compliments the overall look of the watch very well, also the omega signed buckle is a nice touch! The completely white dial contrasts so well against the yellow gold of the case, giving the watch a timeless elegance which looked incredible 40 years ago and will look just as amazing in the next 40 years!

The case back is engraved showing the appreciation of 25 years of work in Ilford Limited, dating February 1979, the watch was made in 1977 so I suspect it was in the shop window for a short while before being purchased to commemorate M.A.Smiths' achievement.

Points of Mention

This watch comes with no box or paperwork, an original gold plated Omega signed buckle is provided on the strap. The watch is currently working, though no service history is provided. The overall cosmetic condition of the watch is very good, though being 9ct gold it does have some scratches, the dial is very clean and free of marks. The case back does have an engraving as photographed.

Personal Note

I'm a sucker for Gold Omega's! This is certainly no exception, the case resembles a well proportioned Patek Philippe Calatrava in my mind, wears so well on the wrist and looks FAR more expensive than it actually is!
