This watch is sold as a brand new and full set, coming how it would if you were to walk into a retailer right now and purchase one, only a lot less expensive! The watch comes with its original Tudor box and original Tudor paperwork with the guarantee stating the date of purchase to be November 2019. The watch is still stickered.
The Watch
The Fastrider Black Shield has all the sporty styling we are accustomed to from Tudor with a brushed middle case and sandblasted detailing. The matte Fixed Ceramic bezel is beautifully engraved with the traditional Tachymeter scale. A flat Sapphire Crystal protects the chronograph dial consisting of a 60 seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, 30 minute subdial at 3 o’clock, 12 hour subdial at 6 o’clock, each sub-dial is sunken creating a multi-dimensional dial with circular detail. A 42mm Ceramic Case with the bead-blasted finish is 3 to 4 times harder than Stainless Steel and even lighter than Titanium. The screw-down case back is made of Stainless steel coated in black PVD. Providing 150m water resistance. inside we have an ETA 7753 Automatic Chronograph running at 28,800 BPH, 27 jewels, 42-hour power reserve. A date window sits at 4.30 position. Dauphine skeletonised hands in Rose Gold are surrounded by chamfered indexes and a Red sweeping centred chronograph seconds hand. The screw-down crown is made of Stainless Steel coated in Black PVD, the chronograph pushers are made the same completing the stealthy look. The strap is made of quality Alcantara Leather with a folding clasp in Stainless Steel coated in Black PVD.
Personal Note
I was incredibly excited to get this watch into stock as I remember working retail and selling a few of years some years ago, always loved it and always felt it be an incredible value for money when you truly consider what it is! I was also happy to be getting it in at the same time as the Omega Speedmaster Apollo 8 Dark Side of the Moon! Both ceramic, both Chronographs and both from great brands, though separated by a fair amount of money!
