A watch designed by a man who is often referred to as "The last Leonardo of the twentieth century" and it is incredibly affordable, don't mind if I do?! In the 1950s Max Bill began working with Junghans and his first piece was a wall clock, later he went on to design wrist watches for the brand too. There in 2010 it was a no-brainer for Junghans to re-release the Max Bill collection as "The Power of Simplicity"!
Here we have the classic Max Bill featuring a manually wound calibre which feels great to use and goes perfectly with the simplicity of the design, use a simple movement that you physically interact with to give life, it all feels very fitting. Clearly inspired by Bauhaus design, this watch portrays elegance and simplicity in a well-proportioned 34mm case that looks timeless on the wrist!
Points of Mention
This watch is sold with its original box and paperwork, the watch was originally purchased in November 2016. The watch comes paired on its original Junghans black leather strap which is in good condition, the watch is overall in good condition. The watch is running great too.
I have always had a deep love and fascination for Junghans, the Max Bill collection offers some of the very best designed watches for some of the very best prices in my opinion. Bauhaus design has always been a fascination for me, having studied Graphic Design at college it was actually a big focus for me, maybe I should get one?!
