This watch is sold with its original IWC box and original IWC paperwork, the watch was purchased from retail May 2018 and therefore still has manufacturer warranty left. The watch was purchased on the Rubber Strap and the official IWC bracelet was purchased afterwards along with another strap. The watch is in worn condition but is overall very good, see the photos. The watch is running well.
The Watch
IWC first introduced the Aquatimer in 1967, simplicity in design and reliable functionality. This modern Aquatimer is inspired by its ancestors. The 42mm stainless steel case and rotating bezel is durable and easy to grip whether you are adventuring in the office or deep in the oceans. The inner bezel also rotates combined with the outer bezel controls the IWC SafeDive System with the 15 minute dive time scale Lumed in Green Super-Luminova. Sapphire Crystal with AR coating protects the dial. The broad hands and indexes are coated in luminescence with the minute hand coated in the same Green Super-luminova. It will be of no surprise that the Aquatimer is rated at 300m/1000ft water resistance.
Inside we have the IWC Automatic Cal.30120 a base of the ETA 2892-A2 21 Jewels beating at 28,800 beats per hour and a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement has been nicely decorated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage. It comes on a 22 mm stainless steel bracelet with a signed deployment clasp that has double pushers for extra security, the watch also comes with 2 other IWC straps.
Personal Note
The Aquatimer is another watch that goes highly underappreciated, meaning it sells for a great price on the secondary market for the amount of watch you get! Especially in this case, you get a full set but also the options you could want with the watch, a true gem and a great deal.
