This watch is sold with its original Pinion box, strap-changing tool and paperwork. The watch comes paired with a 20mm Pinion vintage-style leather strap with a signed buckle. In the box, we have an additional Pinion 20mm NATO strap. The watch is from June 2022 and is sold in worn condition, but overall great condition as you can see from the photographs. The watch comes with its Manufacturer's Warranty.
The Watch
Here we have a 2022 Pinion Neutron ST-BL Blue 38.5mm Automatic on Strap with a 38.5mm brushed stainless steel case that curves over your wrist with finely tapered lugs, a lug-to-lug length of 45mm and a case thickness of 10.5mm ensures a comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side a signed push-down crown with a double o-ring, and the smooth stepped bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal AR coated on the inside above a striking Galvanic blue sector-style dial. A 60-minute chapter ring surrounds a brushed ring with applied steel numerals and “old-Radium” SuperLumiNova coated baton indexes marking the hours, an attractive Guilloché centre has sword hands infilled with "old-Radium” SuperLumiNova complemented an arrow pointed sweeping second hand, at 12 o’clock we have the Pinion motif completing this vintage-inspired timepiece. On the reverse a screwed-down case back with the deep engraving of the Pinion motif and serial number, inside an automatic ETA Cal. 2824-2, 25 jewels, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, this workhorse movement has hacking seconds. The watch comes paired with a 20mm vintage-style leather strap and a signed buckle plus a Pinion NATO strap with a signed buckle in the box and the watch comes with the Pinion presentation box, strap changing tool and Pinion paperwork.
Personal Note
We have been incredibly fortunate and have sold many Pinion's pre-owned, most being a larger case size and therefore more suited for the larger wrist or the person who prefers a larger watch. This Neutron at 38.5mm changes that completely, it wears incredibly well on the wrist and looks truly fantastic, I think this is an exciting development from Pinion and I look forward to what's to come down the road.
The Brand
Founded in 2013 by Piers Berry based in South Oxfordshire, where he has British Horology Institute members in his assembly and service centre. They are part of the resurgence of British watchmakers.
