Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original NODUS presentation box and Paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original stainless steel NODUS signed bracelet with its NODUS signed clasp, all spare links are included. The watch is from March 2021 and is sold in worn condition, but overall very fair condition as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-months Warranty.

The Watch

Nodus was founded in 2017 by lifelong friends Wesley Kwok and Cullen. C. Based out of L.A. The name is Latin for a node or an intersection of pathways. The watches are designed and assembled in L.A.

Here we have a 2021 NODUS Sector Pilot with a 38.5mm 316L surgical-grade stainless steel case. Gentle curve floats over your wrist with a lug to lug length of 47mm and a case thickness of 13mm ensures a comfortable fit on your wrist. Inspired by the aviation watches of the past it is a modern interpretation, using modern components. On the right side is a signed screw-down modern onion crown with deep knurling to help with the grip. The bi-directional friction fit bezel is another nod to those pilot watches of the past. Black 60 minute numerals are applied to the bezel. A flat sapphire crystal with a bevel edge AR coated on the underside. An outer minute track with lumed plots at the hours. An attractive sector dial is made up of radial brushing around the outer edge and a  textured surface in the center. 3D applied Arabic numeral indexes alternating in size coated in Super-LumiNova T-C1 X1 mark the hours adding height and interest. At 6 o’clock we have a framed day and date in a vertical format. The matte black framed sword hands are infilled with Super-LumiNova T-C1 X1 complemented by a sweeping arrow point second hand. The contrast between the black and the orange is quite striking. At 12 o’clock we have NODUS in black and Sector painted in a vibrant red. On the reverse a screw-down case back with an engraved circular geometric pattern engraved in the center. Inside an Automatic Seiko Cal. NH35, 24 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. The movement has hacking and hand winding for your convenience. The watch comes fitted on its 20mm fine link stainless steel bracelet with a signed folding clasp with push-button release and micro adjustment. The watch comes with its NODUS presentation box and papers.

Personal Note

This Nodus blew me away for the price, the dial is fantastic and the finishing is brilliant, the bracelet is comfortable and well built... All this under £500? Yes, please! For those who like Salmon dials, I think this will speak to them immediately and once they have it on the wrist they'll realise, if you get the chance come swing by the showroom and try it on.
