The watch is from June 2020 and is sold in worn condition, but overall great condition as you can see. The watch comes with its manufacturer warranty.
The Watch
Nomos was founded in 1990, just after Germany’s reunification happened with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the USSR collapsed. Based in the Glashutte region, it takes inspiration from the Bauhaus design movement. To have Glashutte on the dial, Nomos has to meet stringent quality standards. They must create at least 50% of the watch calibre in Glashutte to receive the title of being a true Glashutte watch. They only use in-house manufactured movements built up to 95% in the region, surpassing that requirement.
Our Nomos Club Neomatik has a sporty 37mm polished round stainless steel case. Elegant long curved tapered lugs with a lug to lug length of 49mm and a thickness of 9mm gives the watch excellent wrist presence. Designed in Berlin and polished by hand. On the right side, a signed crown with deep knurling. A flat polished bezel holds a domed sapphire crystal. The glossy, bright Siren white dial is the essence of summer on your wrist. An outer minute track with blue numerals and red printed Arabic indices adds a splash of colour at 6 o’clock, a sub-seconds register. Tempered blued hands with white luminescence, which, when charged, glow blue. On the reverse, a polished sapphire crystal exhibition screwed-down case back. Inside an in-house Automatic Nomos Cal. DUW 3001, 27 jewels, 21600 beats per hour. The movement has the NOMOS Swing System, the brand's in-house escapement, providing excellent accuracy. Exquisite Cotes de Geneve and perlage decoration cover this movement. Tempered blued screws and the skeletonised rotor shows off the attention to detail a Nomos watch gives you. The watch comes on a quick-release brushed stainless steel Nomos 18mm bracelet with a slide polished clasp for easy adjustment, plus an additional light grey strap tailor-made in France with a signed buckle. Comes with its Nomos presentation box and full-grain leather wallet and papers.
Personal Note
I've always been a huge fan of Nomos and what they do, I think they offer some of the very best value in the modern world of watches right now, at least on the pre-owned market. This watch retail is £2,500 which isn't terrible when you consider everything, but when you realise for over £1,000 off retail you can pick it up slightly worn it becomes an insane deal that you really shouldn't sleep on! Just look at that movement and the design, who can even come close to this at this same price point?
