Breitling was established in 1884 by Leon Breitling in the Swiss Jura Mountains. Breitling stands for high precision, outstanding performance, and functionality. First launched in 1957, the Superocean was originally created for professional divers, its success saw it quickly becoming popular with amateur divers. In 2017 Breitling redesigned the SuperOcean Heritage line to celebrate its 60th Anniversary.

The markings and numerals are deeply etched into the ceramic. A slightly domed sapphire crystal sits above a deep blue dial. An outer minute track has lume pips and applied steel chamfered-edged baton indexes marking the hours. At 3 o’clock a day/date window. Three registers with steel outline measure 30 minutes,12 hours, and 60 seconds respectively. Broad sword and arrow hands are coated in SuperLumiNova complemented by a tapered chronograph hand. An applied “B” sits above Breitling at 3 o’clock. Just below the date window, you have “SuperOcean” “Chronometer”. On the reverse, a screw-down case back with engraving around the outside and center.
