This watch is sold with its original Seiko Box & Paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original stainless steel Seiko signed bracelet with its Seiko signed clasp, all spare links included. The watch is from October 2017 and is sold in worn condition, but overall very fair condition as you can see, a full case & bracelet refurb can be provided at an additional cost. The watch comes with our 12-Months Non-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

Seikos history began in 1881 when Kintaro Hattori established the K. Hattori retail and repair store. In 1892 Seikosha was established making wall clocks. 1895 saw the production of their first pocket watch. 1913 saw the launch of their first wristwatch, the Laurel. In 1924 the first Seiko was manufactured. Daini Seikosha (now Seiko Instruments Inc.) established in 1937. Seiko listed on the Tokyo stock exchange in 1949. The Suwa factory became independent and formed Suwa Seikosha Co. Ltd. (now Seiko Epson Corporation in 1959).

Our Seiko Presage SARY055 has a 41.5mm stainless steel case. Polished and brushed surfaces transition with crisp edges. A lug to lug length of 49mm and a thickness of 11.5mm gives the watch an excellent wrist presence. The gentle curve of the case makes for a comfortable fit. On the right side, a signed crown. A polished bezel holds a flat sapphire crystal. The silver dial has an outer minute chapter ring with blue markings. Applied trapeze-shaped indexes mark the hours. Beveled edges play with the light as you rotate your wrist. At 3 o’clock a day/date framed window, English or Japanese Kanji Day Wheel. Elegant blue dauphine hands are complemented by a tapered sweeping seconds hand. On the reverse, a screw-down Hardlex exhibition case back. Inside an Automatic Seiko 4R36 with hand winding and hacking functionality. 24 jewels, 21,600 beats per hour. The watch comes fitted on a 22mm stainless steel bracelet polished and brushed with a signed push-button deployment clasp. Comes with its Seiko presentation box and papers.
