The Watch

Seiko's history began in 1881 when Kintaro Hattori established the K. Hattori retail and repair store. In 1892 Seikosha was established making wall clocks. 1895 saw the production of their first pocket watch. 1913 saw the launch of their first wristwatch, the Laurel. In 1924 the first Seiko was manufactured. Daini Seikosha (now Seiko Instruments Inc.) established in 1937. Seiko listed on the Tokyo stock exchange in 1949. The Suwa factory became independent and formed Suwa Seikosha Co. Ltd. (now Seiko Epson Corporation in 1959).

Points of Mention

This watch is sold with its original box and paperwork. The watch comes paired on its original bracelet with no spare links, fits up to a 6 3/4inch wrist. The watch is from December 2017 and is in worn condition, but overall very good as you can see. The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

Personal Note

The hidden gem within the Seiko 5 family, field/military design with a bracelet and oversized compared the usual sizes of the Seiko 5 at 42mm. Whilst not for everyone, it offers something a little bit more for the same price.
