The watch comes paired with a brown leather strap with quick release that suits the watch perfectly. The Watch
Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903, they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.
This 1965 classic Omega has a 32mm round case with polished and brushed surfaces that finishes with sloping straight lugs. A lug to lug length of 39mm ensures a comfortable fit to the wrist. Its thin bezel holds a domed crystal. The silver dial has fine applied baton indexes marking the hours. At 3 o’clock a framed date window. Thin steel hands with a needle sweeping seconds hand. At 12 o’clock an applied Omega and Automatic finish the classic dial On the reverse a screw-down case back. Inside an Automatic Omega Cal. 562, 24 Jewels, 19,800 beats per hour. Fitted on a 17mm leather strap.
Personal Note
Being 32mm I know a feel people will hesitate, to those people I would say this will surprise you, I personally feel we are seeing people gravitate to smaller watches as people are realising how comfortable they are, often it is just our own perception due to modern watches being mostly large, let's see how long it takes until people are regularly wearing 32mm/36mm.
