The Watch
Formerly known as the La Generale Watch Co. it was founded by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848. In 1903 they renamed the company Omega until 1982 when they officially changed their name to Omega SA. They are part of the Swiss Swatch Group.
Our Omega 2504-9 has a 36mm round stainless steel case. Its slim profile curves over your wrist for a comfortable fit. Tapered lugs beveled edges polished for a classic look. A polished bezel holds a domed crystal. The white dial has an outer minute track. Inverted dagger indexes with polished edges capture the light as you rotate your wrist. Long dauphine hands have the same polished edges. Applied Arabic 12, 3, 6, and 9 to complete the simple but elegant dial. On the reverse a snap-on case back. Inside a Manually Wound Omega Cal. 283, 17 Jewels, 18,000 beats per hour. A sweeping seconds hand, monometallic balance with Breguet hairspring. Fitted on an 18mm quick release leather strap.
