This watch is sold with its original Unimatic box and paperwork. The watch comes paired with its original signed NATO strap. The watch is from Circa. 2021 and is sold in worn condition, but as you can see from the photos it has been worn no more than a handful of times. The watch comes with its original Manufacturer Warranty.

The Watch

Made in Italy, Unimatic was founded by Giovanni Moro and Simone Nunziato. They were both trained as industrial designers at “Politecnico di Milano” where they shared a common interest and passion in wristwatches. They started Unimatic in 2015 with their first product, “Modello Uno”.

Here we have a 2021 Unimatic Soyuz U3-AS Limited Edition. Limited to 200 pieces, This watch celebrates the Apollo Soyuz 1975 mission and is a tribute to the Russian designer of the Soviet Space Programme – Galina Andreevna Balashova, the dial includes the iconic Apollo-Soyuz logo. The 41.5mm 316L stainless steel brushed case taperers towards the lugs with strong lines. A lug to lug length of 51mm and a thickness of 14.5mm gives the watch an excellent wrist presence. Between the bottom lugs, Unimatic is engraved. On the right side, we have screw-down pushers for the chronograph and a screw-down signed crown in the center. For the first time, Unimatic has added a unidirectional 120 click bezel with a black anodised aluminum insert complete with a tachymeter scale coated in Super-LumiNova Old Radium. The matte black dial has an outer minute track finely printed. Disc indexes are coated in the same Super-LumiNova Old Radium. At 3 o’clock a 24-hour register with the iconic Apollo-Soyuz logo.  

At 9 o’clock a 60-second register. Broad sword hands and a chronograph hand are coated in the same luminescence, in keeping with the vintage theme. On the reverse, a screw-down case back deeply engraved with Unimatic Apollo-Soyuz 1975 and the number out of 200. Inside Meca-Quartz Seiko VK64 which is both mechanical and battery-driven giving the chronograph that satisfying mechanical reset. The watch comes with a 22mm blue Cordura strap and a laser-etched leather strap each with a signed buckle and comes with its Unimatic pelican case and papers.
