This watch is sold with its original Tudor box and Tudor paperwork, as photographed. The watch comes paired on its original black Tudor rubber strap with the original Tudor buckle. The watch is from June 2012 and is sold in worn condition. Overall, however, the watch is in very good condition as you can see from the photos and very close to "mint". The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

Launched in 2008 until 2014 this 2012 Tudor Iconaut 20400 has a 44mm curvaceous case, very much cushion in appearance. A 52mm lug to lug and a thickness of 15mm the watch has incredible wrist presence. High polished surfaces soften the lines. On the right side, a signed protected screw-down crown and chronograph pushers. A broad sloping fixed bezel has 24-hour numerals deeply etched in black lacquer. Its flat sapphire crystal sits above a black dial. An outer minute with applied lumed pips marks the hours. Its unusual dial of different sized registers and styles has at 12 o’clock a 30-minute register, at 6 o’clock a 12-hour register, and at 9 o’clock the continuous 60 seconds. Black accents ring the grey registers. Slim dauphine hands are lume filled. A red GMT hand has a white triangle tip. At 4 o’clock a date window. On the reverse a screw-down case back. Inside an Automatic Cal. 7754, 25 Jewels, 28,800 beats per hour. Introduced in 2003, the Valjoux 7754, which is now ETA is a cam-operated automatic chronograph with a date and adjustable 24-hour hand that is quickset along with the date. Pull the crown out and rotate clockwise for the date change and anticlockwise for the GMT hand, Fitted on its 22mm Tudor rubber strap with a signed buckle.

Personal Note

The Iconaut by Tudor is considered to the "Marmite" Tudor, for those outside of the UK this essentially means you either really love it, or you really don't! This is definitely an acquired taste, but that is what I love about it, there is no point just stocking the typical in my opinion, it would get boring very quickly!
