This watch is sold with its original paperwork but no original box is present. The watch comes paired on its original Corum bracelet with its signed clasp.. The watch is from November 1994 and is sold in worn condition, but overall very fair condition as you can see. A full case and bracelet refurb can be offered at an additional cost if requested. The watch comes with our 12-Months Non-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

Corum was founded by Gaston Ries and René Bannwart in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1955. In 1960 Rene Bannwart created the instantly recognisable Admiral’s Cup watch with its inspiration taken from the international yachting regatta based at Cowes on the Isle of Wight off southern England and was organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club. Corum supported the race up to its last race in 2003. Since that time the range of watches is called the Admiral’s collection.  

Here we have a 1994 Corum Admiral's Cup with its distinctive case and styling. The 34mm stainless steel case has 12 sides with polished and brushed surfaces that make this watch quite unique. A lug to lug length of 35mm and a thickness of just 6mm ensures a very comfortable fit on your wrist. On the right side, a recessed signed crown. The brushed flat bezel has “Admirals Cup” and “Corum” engraved into it. The flat crystal sits above a cream dial. The interesting design of this dial is the nautical pennants taken from the International Code of Signals (CS) to indicate the hours. At 6 o’clock a date window with a cyclops magnification on the crystal. Slender gold coloured hands are complemented by a tapered second hand. On the reverse, a screwed-down case back with a wave pattern running across the center. Inside a Swiss quartz movement. The watch comes on its original stainless steel 19mm bracelet with brushed and polished links and a hidden signed deployment clasp. Comes with its Corum paperwork.
