Points of Mention

This watch is sold as watch only and therefore comes with no box or paperwork. The watch comes paired with a period-correct 19mm tropic rubber strap. The watch is from Circa. 1970s and is in near old stock condition as you can see. The watch is all original. The watch comes with our 12-Months NON-Waterproof Warranty.

The Watch

Lucerne was a US company based in New York City. It assembled Swiss parts into various types of cases and sold them under their Lucerne name.

An essentially NOS Lucerne is a dive style. The 39mm curvaceous case, substantial for its time, is Chrome plated in excellent condition with that distinct mirror finish. The friction fit 60-minute bezel is red and black with white numerals at 15, 30, and 45 minutes. Its acrylic crystal protects a black dial white batons with Tritium lume mark the hours with a date window at 3 o’clock. White baton hands along with a red centre seconds hand, give the dial a nice pop. The stainless steel case back is styled like a screw-down but pops on and off instead. Inside a Manually Wound, EB 8110 fitted on its original 19mm Tropic-style strap.

Personal Note

A fantastic option for someone who wants an incredible looking watch at an affordable price point, the design is brilliant and offers everything you'd want in a vintage divers watch. Thanks to the chrome case and the movement it brings the price down, but due to the condition and the fact the watch comes with our warranty is becomes a bargain.
