Points of Mention

This watch comes as a watch only and therefore has no official box or paperwork. The case is made by Dennison for Omega and has the hallmarking’s showing it is solid 9ct gold, the watch is in overall brilliant condition for its age! The dial does feature patina, see photographs. The movement is clean inside but has no service history, it is, however, running very well and holds it reserve perfectly.

The Watch

There is something incredibly attractive and charming about a gold Omega, this beautiful reference 13339 with its sharp 9ct yellow gold Dennison case is the perfect example! Featuring beautifully even patina on the dial that plays perfectly against the gold applied numerals and indices, as well as the large sub-seconds and gold hands! The watch just screams autumn to me and looks fantastic on a brown leather strap, match it with a pair of boots and you are set for the perfect autumn/winter watch!

At 34mm it is perfect on the wrist, being solid gold it brings it from brash to classy at this size. It goes understated but if noticed it shows great taste, especially when you take a closer look at the dial. It is visibly an old watch, but not in a beaten way, in the beautifully timelessly designed way. This is what brands of today are trying to create for their future, Omega nailed it.

Personal Note

If I had more money this would be mine, yes I say it a lot! But I do not have a gold watch and this truly suits me perfectly, so please just hurry up and buy it to reduce my sadness that I cannot keep it! Thank you :)
