Far from an 'expensive' watch, this L.L. Bean Hamilton Mechanical in 33mm offers a ton of "smiles-per-£" that few watches can rival. From the L.L. Bean signature at 12 o'clock with the less prominent Hamilton logo at 6 o'clock, down to the puffy lume, which looks far older than it actually is, the matte case and the cute case back and most impressive to me is the box and booklets, even down to the NATO strap, this is a beautifully preserved example of a cool watch I have always loved wearing. If you are a fan of the modern Hamilton, give these vintage models a go and I suspect you just may be swayed to find one of these instead and in some cases even save a few £ from retail on the new ones, crazy!
