Having recently sourced a Seiko 7A38 for the store I had to go and source an original 7A28 too! The 7A28 predates the 7A38 by a short while, but it was the very first quartz chronograph introduced to the market and for that reason quite historically important in the world of watches! This lovely reference 7A28-7029 features a gold plating with a matching gold tone dial, contrasting black hands, markers and markings for sub dials. It is overall a very attractive watch and offers a lot of value for not an awful lot of money.
Points of Mention
This watch is being sold as watch only and therefore comes with no original box or original paperwork. This is a vintage watch, therefore signs of wear and age will be seen. Overall however it is in good condition for its vintage age. The watch comes with no known service history, but it is running well and all functions working as they should.
We are seeing these Seiko quartz references becoming more and more collectible, I suspect the 7A28 & 7A38 models will only continue to go up as more people learn the history of the references and gain more interest in them!
