This watch is being sold as watch only and therefore comes with no original box or original paperwork. The watch is vintage and therefore some signs of wear will be seen, but overall the watch is in great condition for its age and also for the fact it is a gold plated watch, the dial is incredibly nice. The watch comes with no known service history but it is running well, inside it looks nice and clean with its micro-rotor movement too.
The Watch
"Gilt Shadow" is probably one of the coolest names for a watch yet! Not only does this watch feature a bad-ass name, but it also features a beautiful Universal Genève Micro-Rotor movement which allows this watch to be 7mm thin and wear flush against the wrist. Match that with lovely yellow gold plating which is in great condition and incredibly clean dial, you have yourself a lovely dress watch which will work for all occasions, put it on a thin brown leather strap you have yourself a casual watch too. I always have a soft spot for any cushion cases, this case matched with the thinness makes it easily one of the nicest vintage watches I have seen under £1000 in a while!
Personal Note
This is the kind of watch I would happily add to my collection, it offers so much watch for such little money. There are not many brands that offer micro-rotor movements and Universal Genève are certainly known for them!
